Kaplan Research Associates Inc. is affiliated with The Knowledge Managers Inc. (KMI), a company that provides OCR (fill-in the bubble)/ICR (alpha and numeric character recognition) scanning solutions, based on the TELEform scanning suite.

KMI has provided scannable forms design and automated data entry services since 2000. Over the years we have developed long-term relationships with agencies, government departments, and other research firms that require the processing of large numbers of forms or questionnaires. Kaplan Research Associates uses the KMI’s services for all of its quantitative research studies.

KMI can either transform an existing form to a verbatim scannable form, or work with you to create the scannable form from scratch. With ICR technology, both marksense and character recognition fields can be read.
